Long description

Autobiography is a hotel located on the shores of the Black Sea in Zaliznyi Port, Ukraine. Scope of work: brand platform, naming, visual identity, and website.

The owners created a large house where guests — more like friends — could live through some of life’s best moments together, gradually shaping one shared story of the place itself. The key insight came from realizing that people are searching for spaces where they can hide from the world's noise, slow down, enjoy ordinary rituals, skip the rush of endless meetings, and spend more time simply being present.

And when we think about a time in life defined by pure enjoyment, one thing inevitably comes to mind: childhood. Carefree summers by the sea. The feeling of endless days and small happy moments. We realized that almost everyone carries this chapter somewhere inside their own biography. That insight became both the hotel’s name and its slogan.

The core idea behind the visual identity is a flexible frame — a structure capable of containing anything: memories, stories, fantasies, fragments of life. The name speaks for itself: every guest adds another chapter to their autobiography here, another story about pleasure by the sea.

The idea of a “moment” or a “story” naturally transforms into the idea of a “detail.” Autobiography was designed with deep attention to detail, and we approached the identity system with the same care — building it from subtle gestures, textures, and carefully composed elements.
